Electrical Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2026)

About the role#

TSC is seeking students for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op position in Huntsville, Alabama, to support the Radar & Precision Weapons Development Operation. This role provides an opportunity to apply classroom theory to practical work situations, assisting full-time engineering staff with the analysis and design of RF/microwave sensors and systems. Co-ops are expected to commit to three semesters on an alternating work schedule.

What you'll do#

• Support full-time engineering staff with technical tasks.
• Perform data analysis and identify post-flight or mission data processing.
• Conduct acceptance testing of RF/microwave components.
• Develop electronic component test procedures.
• Utilize computer-aided design tools for circuit modeling, system modeling, and design verification.
• Assist with system integration and testing.
• Perform statistical component failure analysis and low-voltage digital hardware testing.
• Gain proficiency in tools such as MathCad, Matlab, Python, AutoCAD, OrCAD, and HFSS.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited university with good academic standing.
• Pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Coursework or prior experience in basic engineering circuit analysis and basic digital logic.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.
