About the role#
As an IS Audit & Controls Intern, you will work within the Trimble business systems ecosystem. You will gain hands-on experience with IT compliance, user access governance, and change management. You will partner with mentors and global teams to support critical IT control processes and explore automation tools.
What you'll do#
- Partner with team leads to conduct quarterly user access and Segregation of Duties reviews across enterprise business systems.
- Monitor production change management workflows and evaluate deployment control compliance across Salesforce environments.
- Coordinate audit evidence collection and cross-reference documentation using Jira.
- Analyze system control metrics, build reporting summaries, and identify opportunities to automate manual compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional stakeholders to track findings and drive remediation for core IT general controls.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of SQL or SOQL.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive communication skills and the ability to meet structured deadlines.
- Preferred: Exposure to IT General Controls, SOX compliance, or enterprise risk management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, or software release practices.

- Compensation: $22.69 to $34.04 per hour.
