About the role#
This 12-month internship program offers hands-on experience within our geospatial division. Candidates will be matched with specific teams based on their background, skills, and interests after the interview process. You will work on hardware-software integration, product testing, and project management to support software used by geomatics professionals.
What you'll do#
- Apply survey and GIS expertise to design and assess our office software.
- Build and expand automated testing frameworks by writing code to simulate end-user operations.
- Execute exploratory testing and design test cases using advanced equipment like GNSS, total stations, and laser scanners.
- Track, analyze, and report automated test results to optimize performance.
- Lead time-sensitive feature and enhancement projects.
- Partner with customer and beta user communities to gather product insights.
- Collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams to produce educational and promotional content.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong foundational understanding of office and field survey workflows and terminology.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with test design, databases, Excel, and networking principles.
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Demonstrated organization and time management abilities.
- Ability to commit to a 12-month, full-time schedule.
