About the role#
Tri-Med Healthcare LLC is hiring a Business Analyst / Client Care Intern to join our office team in Newtown, PA. This is a part-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will support our non-medical home care agency operations by handling administrative tasks, caregiver management, and client relations.
What you'll do#
- Manage business processes including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll entry.
- Recruit field employees, process caregiver applications, and assist with new hire orientations.
- Monitor caregiver certification requirements and process timesheets.
- Handle consumer relations and conduct quality assurance checks based on state policies.
- Organize and manage office records and materials.
- Manage initial phone inquiries and schedule interviews.
- Assist the Lead Client Care Coordinator with staffing and scheduling.
- Conduct home visits and personal introductions with clients and caregivers.
- Represent the company at marketing and networking events.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Social Sciences, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Healthcare is preferred.
- Direct Care Worker Certificate.
- A reliable vehicle for travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and Gmail calendars.
- Ability to learn home care management software.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work in a team.
- Understanding of HIPAA laws to maintain client privacy.
