About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship with the Argus Advisory team. You will work with associates to support client relationships and gain exposure to the financial services industry. The program includes on-the-job training, career development workshops, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to support key client relationships.
- Use the Argus Consortia dataset to develop project outputs.
- Run strategic quantitative analysis using large datasets and statistical software.
- Investigate complex data interactions to help clients identify business opportunities.
- Build statistical data models to assist in developing client portfolio strategies.
- Analyze and interpret reports to turn data into actionable solutions.
- Present analytical results and their business implications to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or advanced degree program in statistics, industrial engineering, mathematics, economics, computer science, or finance.
- Graduation date of May or June 2028 or earlier.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and analytically.
- Familiarity with SQL, AWS, SAS, or other data mining and statistical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in either White Plains, New York, or Chicago, Illinois.
- You will be expected to work from an office location for at least two days per week.
- The internship lasts for 10 to 12 weeks, beginning in May or June 2027 depending on your academic calendar.
- Compensation is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.
