About the role#
As an HVAC Technician Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting field service operations. You will work alongside experienced technicians and service professionals to learn about commercial HVAC systems, service processes, and industry best practices. This role is based in a local service office and involves working on-site at customer locations.
What you'll do#
- Assist HVAC service technicians and team members with daily service operations and administrative support activities.
- Support preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment.
- Help document service activities, update work orders, and maintain accurate service records.
- Observe and learn safe work practices, tool usage, and service procedures in the field and office.
- Support inventory, parts tracking, and the organization of service materials.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding job progress, scheduling, and service needs.
- Participate in training opportunities to expand your technical understanding of HVAC systems.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or pursuit of a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree in HVAC, mechanical systems, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in HVAC systems and service work.
- Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, or equipment within reasonable job limits.

- Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour.
