About the role#
The Product & Business Analytics Intern will join the Hardware and System Software product portfolio team. This role focuses on assessing operational data to create business metrics that measure product quality, revenue, and gross profit. You will assist in developing automated dashboards to support product-level governance and actionable insights.
What you'll do#
- Learn about product offerings and the processes for sales, fulfillment, warranty, and service.
- Review systems databases across warranty, service, support, and sales departments.
- Assess data integrity and identify relevant data for generating product-level KPIs.
- Assist in the formulation of key performance indicators.
- Participate in the design, development, implementation, and testing of automated dashboards for tracking KPIs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
- Preferred experience includes database integration, data aggregation, AI data analysis, and software development (Java, C++, or similar).
- Preferred familiarity with code versioning tools like Git or SVN, and modern web development (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.JS).
Location & details#
- Location: Durham, North Carolina (On-site at HQ).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 14 – December 4, 2026).
- Hours: 20-30 hours per week, with a schedule determined by the manager.
