About the role#
Topel Forman LLC is seeking a Summer 2027 Tax Intern for our Denver office. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience in taxation and documentation. Interns are paired with a tax supervisor or manager for mentorship and a tax associate buddy for daily support. You will perform work similar to a first-year associate, handling real compliance projects that benefit our clients and the firm.
What you'll do#
- Prepare a variety of individual tax returns, including high net worth and multi-state filings.
- Maintain a working knowledge of individual tax laws and tax preparation software.
- Identify and communicate tax and accounting issues to senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Build professional communication skills, including business writing and interacting with other professionals.
- Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a major in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
