About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our marketing team for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will assist with photography, editing, and content planning to support our construction projects. This role requires occasional evening and weekend work for event coverage and project shoots.
What you'll do#
- Capture high-quality photos for internal and external use.
- Plan and coordinate content shoots with project stakeholders.
- Edit photos using Adobe Creative Suite to create polished content.
- Brainstorm creative concepts and storytelling ideas with the team.
- Resize, format, and optimize media for digital platforms.
- Draft and schedule social media posts.
- Maintain and organize our digital asset library.
- Monitor industry trends in photography, videography, and social media.
- Assist with other marketing tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a photography, videography, digital media, or related program.
- Experience with professional DSLR cameras and equipment, ideally within the Canon ecosystem.
- Knowledge of studio lighting techniques and equipment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
- Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and independent work habits.
- An outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
- A valid G driver's license.

- Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
