    About the role#

    Timberlab is hiring a Project Engineer Intern to assist in the administration of our field offices. You will work to help the team meet project profitability and schedule goals. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.

    What you'll do#

    • Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs.
    • Prepare document distributions for subcontractors.
    • Assist with the maintenance and updating of CPM schedules.
    • Process submittals and RFI logs.
    • Input data for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys.

    What you'll need#

    • A degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, either completed or in progress.
    • Ability to read and understand technical plans and specifications.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Basic skills in estimating and scheduling are preferred.
    • Drafting and computer skills are preferred.
    • Ability to use independent judgment and work as a self-starter.

    • Locations: Portland, Oregon or Piedmont, South Carolina.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
