About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in a retail business environment. You will work directly with customers and team members to manage shipping needs and store operations. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to walk-in clients and handle telephone inquiries.
- Listen to customer needs and offer shipping solutions.
- Learn all product and service offerings, along with current industry trends.
- Use store equipment, software, and devices, and teach these skills to others.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Clear verbal and written communication, including math and spelling proficiency.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Reliability and a professional attitude.
- Availability to work 25 to 30 hours per week across a 6-day schedule.
