About the role#
The Peter Roth Internship is a paid apprenticeship for undergraduate students interested in a career in television. This program offers 20 students the chance to learn about the industry through the Paley Archive and direct engagement with professionals. It runs from June 1st, 2027, through July 8th, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in an extensive course using the Paley Archive.
- Attend guest lectures, meet-and-greets, and Q&A sessions with television executives, talent, showrunners, and writers.
- Work on-site at the Paley Center.
- Attend site visits to networks and sets to learn about the business of television.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student.
- Junior or senior status as of the fall of 2026.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Demonstrated academic achievement and leadership skills.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Modality: This is an on-site, in-person internship.
- Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm ET, with potential adjustments for specific program events.
- Compensation: $17 per hour.
