About the role#
The MJ Companies is offering a full-time, paid summer internship in Carmel, Indiana, for Summer 2027. This 11-week program provides a rotational learning experience across our Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty departments. You will spend five weeks in each area to learn our consultative approach to client engagement and relationship management.
What you'll do#
- Participate in an 11-week rotation to gain exposure to both Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty consulting.
- Research industries and organizations to build prospect lists using market research tools.
- Develop and refine cold outreach messaging and prospecting strategies.
- Observe and support business development activities and client meetings.
- Practice consultative selling through role-play exercises with experienced consultants.
- Deliver weekly presentations to leaders and executives to build communication skills.
- Complete a capstone project to demonstrate the insights and skills you gained during the program.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Carmel, Indiana.
- The role is on-site and full-time at 37.5 hours per week.
- The internship runs from May through August 2027.
