About the role#
The Design Team Intern supports our designers and the Head of Design on event and production projects. You will assist throughout the design process, from initial concepts to detailed execution. This role reports to the Head of Design and works closely with the broader America design and production team.
What you'll do#
- Create decks for projects and pitches.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and visuals to communicate designs to clients.
- Perform technical design and drafting tasks.
- Produce construction drawings for fabrication.
- Conduct material research and build sample board displays.
- Source and order furniture and other design elements.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or Industrial Design.
- Experience in interior design, production design, or architecture.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software like Rhino, AutoCAD, or Enscape.
- Skill with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to teamwork.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in New York City and requires working on-site at our Soho office.
