About the role#
This is a seasonal, paid internship at The Country Club of Rochester. You will work alongside our Chef de Cuisine and kitchen staff to gain hands-on experience in a professional culinary operation. The role runs from October through January.
What you'll do#
- Prepare menu items and learn our recipes and standards.
- Help the team plate and serve dishes.
- Monitor supplies and flag shortages or issues to the chefs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Assist with special projects assigned by the Chef de Cuisine.
- Represent the club with professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work in a busy environment.
- Willingness to help the team wherever needed.
- Comfort standing and moving for shifts up to 8 hours.
- A curious mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a culinary program is a plus.

- Compensation: 20 USD per hour.
