About the role#
The Adamah on Campus LA Intern supports Jewish environmental programming across Los Angeles campuses. This part-time role involves 5-8 hours of work per week from September 1, 2026, through December 15, 2026. This is a paid position with a $2,000 stipend.
What you'll do#
- Attend weekly check-ins and required Adamah LA Hub meetings.
- Serve as a student voice to help staff develop programming.
- Advise students applying for mini-grants for climate-justice events or workshops.
- Promote Eco Shabbat in a Box and Tu B’Shvat in a Box initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for the Los Angeles Immersive Day Retreat, including travel and scheduling.
- Facilitate and lead peer activities during the Immersive Day Retreat.
- Consult on program content and travel to support staff-led programs on local campuses.
- Recruit and engage participants for the five LA Adamah Campus Chapters.
What you'll need#
- Experience in Jewish student or communal engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite and data tracking.
- Familiarity with environmental language and initiatives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work virtually and adapt to changing situations.
- Preference is given to current Adamah on Campus chapter leaders.
