About the role#
TG Kentucky, LLC is hiring a Technical Intern to join the Quality department. This part-time, paid internship is based on-site in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It is a rolling position open to students pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
What you'll do#
You will support engineering teams across several areas, including machine, quality, TPS, production, and mold maintenance. Your daily tasks include:
- Assisting with pre-production and mass-production engineering activities.
- Tracking and analyzing data.
- Conducting time studies and process layout activities.
- Investigating quality problems and performing sorts.
- Managing supplies and materials through ordering and distribution.
- Applying general problem-solving techniques to workplace issues.
- Maintaining 5S standards.
- Following all company policies, procedures, and rules.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
