Texas Instruments is seeking individuals transitioning from military service through the Department of Defense SkillBridge program to serve as Equipment Technician Interns. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure high production performance. You will apply your technical aptitude and problem-solving skills within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, upgrades, and installations.
- Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce equipment downtime.
- Monitor and analyze data to maintain tool performance and address operational issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges.
- Prepare technical reports and summary findings with recommended solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current active-duty military status and eligibility for the DoD SkillBridge program.
- High School diploma or GED and must be 18 years of age or older.
- One of the following: A Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, OR 3 years of hands-on technical maintenance work experience.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
