Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

TENEX.AI is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join the core engineering team. This is a 12-week, full-time program requiring 30 hours of work per week. This position is paid and requires daily on-site attendance at the San Jose office.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, code reviews, testing, and bug fixing.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal development processes and tools.

What you'll need#

• A solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous related experience in software engineering, such as internships, projects, or relevant coursework.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Go or Python.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework, such as Next.js, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js.
• Ability to learn new technologies independently and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
