About the role#
This Nurse Extern opportunity allows nursing students to gain hands-on experience within the Palm Beach Health Network. This network includes Delray Medical Center, Florida Coast Medical Center, Good Samaritan Medical Center, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, St. Mary's Medical Center, and West Boca Medical Center.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with their activities of daily living.
- Provide basic patient care to meet physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Perform unit secretary clerical duties.
- Carry out nursing practice interventions that you have learned in your clinical training and have validated by an RN staff member.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited school of Nursing program.
- Successful completion of a nursing fundamentals class.
- BLS Certification.
- Prior clinical experience in your area of expertise is preferred.
