About the role#
We are hiring Nurse Externs to join our team at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. This is a part-time position for students currently enrolled in nursing school. You will support our clinical staff while gaining hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist patients with their daily living activities.
- Provide basic care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Perform nursing practice interventions that you have learned in clinical training, provided they are validated by a registered nurse.
- Handle unit secretary clerical duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Successful completion of a Nursing fundamentals course.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
