About the role#
This position offers senior nursing students an opportunity to gain clinical experience in a step-down unit. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to support patient care and gain hands-on practice in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist Registered Nursing staff with daily patient care activities.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Observe patients and report significant changes or findings to a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to care for med-surg patients.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- Active CPR certification.
