About the role#
The Nurse Extern II - Telemetry role is a patient care support position. You will work as part of the patient care services team to provide direct and indirect care. This position requires you to work under the supervision of a registered nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs and your specific skills.
What you'll do#
- Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients.
- Perform technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Assist the nursing team in delivering care within the telemetry unit.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Enrollment in technical or vocational nursing training.
- Current enrollment in an accredited school of nursing, specifically in your senior year.
- Current BLS for health care providers certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing knowledge and skills.
