About the role#
This is a 4-month co-op position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work as a sensor characterization specialist, reporting to project leaders and senior team members to evaluate the performance of CMOS image sensors.
What you'll do#
- Characterize and evaluate the performance of CMOS image sensors.
- Learn to operate sensors and utilize electronics lab equipment.
- Confirm proper internal functioning of sensors.
- Measure electrical and electro-optical performance, including charge transfer efficiency, photon transfer curves, and electrical and optical crosstalk.
- Investigate performance issues reported by end customers and suggest operational improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency with Python 3 and Matlab.
- Familiarity with MS Office.
- Practical knowledge of oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
