About the role#
TeamLogic IT is hiring an IT Intern to support small to medium-sized businesses with their daily technical needs. You will work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience with managed IT services, troubleshooting, and client support. This role is designed for students or recent graduates who want to build foundational IT skills in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior technicians with remote and on-site technical support for clients.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on client systems, including updates and monitoring.
- Manage incoming service requests by logging, tracking, and updating tickets.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members to provide status updates.
- Create and maintain documentation for client systems and common procedures.
- Help with basic security tasks like antivirus updates and monitoring alerts.
- Set up and configure new hardware and software.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand your technical knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems and common applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional, friendly, and patient approach to client interactions.
- A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and an interest in technology.
