About the role#
The Public Markets intern role provides hands-on investment research and analysis experience. You will work directly with the Public Markets team and investment staff on projects related to global equity portfolios, credit, and special situation portfolios. This is a full-time, 10-week paid internship scheduled for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform fundamental and statistical investment analysis, including valuation multiples, volatility, and returns calculations.
- Conduct quantitative investment research on companies, industries, or countries.
- Assist with due diligence for potential investment opportunities.
- Coordinate with investment managers, analysts, and third-party advisors.
- Prepare and present written or oral reports detailing your analysis and recommendations.
- Participate in group projects and ensure all work follows agency ethics policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate senior or a 5-year master's student.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Ability to live in Austin, Texas for the duration of the internship.

- Compensation: $43.27 per hour for undergraduates and $46.30 per hour for master's students.
