About the role#
SWIVEL is hiring a DevOps Intern to join our team in San Antonio. This program provides students with practical experience in software operations and enterprise IT management. You will work alongside our DevOps team to learn technical skills, solve problems, and gain exposure to the financial services industry. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Build systems to interface with our clientele.
- Create tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Shadow team members to expand your knowledge base.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Java and C# is preferred.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
- A proactive approach to work and a desire to learn.
- High level of professionalism and maturity.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
