About the role#
The DCIM Intern role is a project-based opportunity for students to learn about the data center industry. You will work on various tasks based on your background, technical skills, and current business needs. This position provides exposure to Data Center Infrastructure Management solutions and helps you build professional skills while working alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do#
- Participate in department and cross-functional projects.
- Assist with research, documentation, data analysis, testing, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple departments.
- Complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
- Create reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Learn about Sunbird Software products, business processes, and industry practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows.
- Present completed projects or findings to management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds if required.
