About the role#
Strata-G, LLC is hiring students for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. This program places interns across various technical and corporate tracks to work alongside experienced mentors on federal and commercial projects. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and technical problem-solving.
What you'll do#
Internship responsibilities vary by track and project needs. You may be involved in:
- Supporting engineering design, calculations, modeling, technical analysis, and facility planning.
- Reviewing blueprints, survey data, and technical specifications.
- Participating in engineering troubleshooting, data analysis, and structural or process evaluations.
- Preparing technical documentation in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Shadowing Project Managers on federal and commercial projects.
- Organizing project resources and maintaining stakeholder coordination.
- Supporting project planning, cost and schedule activities, and performance reporting.
- Supporting regulatory compliance initiatives and waste management.
- Assisting in implementing field safety protocols and monitoring compliance.
- Participating in safety inspections and job hazard analyses.
- Assisting with work planning, integrated master scheduling, and cost-estimating.
- Gaining exposure to Earned Value Management frameworks.
- Supporting nuclear operations, quality assurance, and technical research.
- Supporting HR processes, internal communications, and office operational coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness and eligibility to undergo background verification for a security clearance.
