About the role#
Storion Energy is hiring a Chemical Engineer Co-Op for the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time position based at our production facility and operations lab in Alpharetta, Georgia. You will work on-site and gain exposure to senior-level leaders while contributing to our work in long-duration energy storage and vanadium redox flow batteries.
What you'll do#
- Support product development initiatives.
- Conduct hands-on testing within the R&D lab.
- Perform data processing and analysis.
- Assist with chemical process design, control, and operation development.
- Execute kinetics determination and modeling.
- Manage unit operation design and equipment specification.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Perform material compatibility testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Chemical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Reliable housing and transportation for the duration of the term.
