About the role#
The Campaign Finance Intern works on-site in the Washington, DC office to provide operational support for Democratic and progressive campaigns, PACs, and advocacy organizations. This position reports to Compliance Assistants and Associates and focuses on the daily tasks required for client oversight and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Pick up client mail and donations.
- Assist with client data entry and bank deposits.
- Help prepare and edit campaign finance reports.
- Compose and mail out compliance correspondence.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by Associates, Managers, and the President.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Commitment to supporting progressive causes.
- Majors in Political Science, Business Administration, or Economics are preferred.
