About the role#
The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are looking for Ballpark Operations Interns for the 2027 season at Robin Roberts Stadium. You will gain hands-on experience across the business, including ticketing, marketing, hospitality, and team operations. This role involves assisting with special events and ballpark maintenance to help create a positive experience for fans. The internship runs from mid-May through early August.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily ballpark operations on game and non-game days.
- Support ticketing, fan engagement, and customer service initiatives.
- Plan, set up, and execute game-day promotions, theme nights, and special events.
- Help fulfill sponsorship obligations and distribute pocket schedules in the community.
- Assist with marketing, social media, and fan engagement efforts.
- Support food and beverage operations, including concessions and catering.
- Prepare, maintain, and clean the ballpark, equipment, and hospitality spaces.
- Supervise game-day staff and provide hospitality to fans and special guests.
- Manage merchandise sales and inventory.
- Support team operations, including clubhouse responsibilities and equipment management.
- Handle setup, breakdown, and closing procedures for events.
