About the role#
As a Pharmacy Technician Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, Supervisor, or the Director of Pharmacy Services. This role supports the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy to meet patient needs.
What you'll do#
- Fill routine drug orders for unit dose medications.
- Refill medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
- Perform non-sterile and sterile compounding.
- Repackage medication into unit dose barcoded packages.
- Replenish code cart drug supplies.
- Manage inventory duties for the Central Pharmacy operation.
What you'll need#
- Current license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Intern from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
- High school level of education is preferred.
- At least 3 months of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.

- Location: Weymouth, Massachusetts.
- Status: Part-time.
- Shift: Day and evening rotation.
- Compensation: $24.39 to $32.83 per hour.
