About the role#
Sonar is seeking a Purchase to Pay Intern to join the Finance team. This internship offers experience in financial operations within a software development company. The role is designed to provide a continuous, immersive experience across the Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
What you'll do#
- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices with precision.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm the receipt of goods and services.
- Apply your AI knowledge to support financial operations.
- Match vendor bills to purchase orders and goods received to optimize financial workflows.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the academic year.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
