About the role#
Sonar is seeking a Purchase to Pay Intern to join our Mission Control Finance team. This internship provides an immersive experience in financial operations within a growing software development company. You will gain hands-on exposure to critical business processes and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-world financial workflows.
What you'll do#
- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices with high precision.
- Match vendor bills to corresponding purchase orders and goods received to optimize financial flow.
- Collaborate with internal requestors to confirm the receipt of goods or services.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Deploy your AI knowledge to contribute to projects within the company.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external interaction.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: This is a year-long internship covering Summer 2026 and the Fall 2026 academic term.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer; part-time (15–20 hours per week) during the academic year.
