Purchase to Pay Intern

About the role#

Sonar is seeking a Purchase to Pay Intern to join our Mission Control Finance team. This internship provides an immersive experience in financial operations within a growing software development company. You will gain hands-on exposure to critical business processes and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-world financial workflows.

What you'll do#

• Process and verify incoming vendor invoices with high precision.
• Match vendor bills to corresponding purchase orders and goods received to optimize financial flow.
• Collaborate with internal requestors to confirm the receipt of goods or services.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Deploy your AI knowledge to contribute to projects within the company.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external interaction.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Location & details#

• Location: Austin, Texas.
• Modality: On-site.
• Commitment: This is a year-long internship covering Summer 2026 and the Fall 2026 academic term.
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer; part-time (15–20 hours per week) during the academic year.
• This is a paid internship position.
