About the role#
This is a 10-week internship program based at our AgriSompo headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. You will gain exposure to the crop insurance industry through hands-on work, structured learning, and networking. The role includes a business project that you will present to the Executive Group at the end of the program. You should expect to travel approximately 15% of the time to explore different areas of the business.
What you'll do#
- Engage with departments such as Crop Underwriting, Operations, Field Claims, Marketing, Data Analytics, Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Finance.
- Participate in structured leadership development sessions.
- Interact directly with members of the executive team.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership during networking events.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- You have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are an energetic, resourceful, and hardworking individual with a clear commitment to the insurance industry.
- You are at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- You can handle a team environment with shifting priorities and demands.
