About the role#
Soccer Shots Boise is looking for an intern to support our operations and coach children ages 2 to 8. This role offers exposure to the day to day management of a growing business, including sales, operations, and coaching. We are looking for someone who can work with us through 2025 to experience the full cycle of our seasonal business. You will be compensated at $18 per session for coaching and $15 per hour for administrative tasks, with an expected commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Lead soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8, including setting up and taking down fields.
- Assist with sales and business development initiatives.
- Design and implement marketing plans.
- Learn how to hire, evaluate, and train coaching staff.
- Help launch our new registration system.
- Coordinate seasonal preparation and execution across our school and park programs.
- Represent the company at various events.
- Provide customer service to families and partner schools.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in working with children and sports. No prior coaching experience is required.
- An energetic and responsible approach to your work.
- A focus on safety and the ability to adapt to the needs of young children.
- The physical ability to stand, jog, and demonstrate soccer skills.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain all state-required clearances.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management is preferred.
