About the role#
Skeena Gold + Silver is looking for a Graphic Design and Marketing Intern to join the Communications and Investor Relations team. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work in a hybrid capacity to support our visual storytelling and administrative goals.
What you'll do#
- Create visual assets for social media, digital platforms, print, and internal communications while following brand guidelines.
- Adapt designs and templates for different platforms, including resizing assets to specific aspect ratios.
- Design thumbnails and visual assets for video content.
- Assist with the design and production of brochures, pamphlets, and posters.
- Create and format PowerPoint presentations and other corporate materials.
- Schedule and publish content through Hootsuite on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Support monthly social media analytics and reporting.
- Maintain and organize design templates and communications assets.
- Update the company CRM and internal tracking systems to support investor relations.
- Assist with planning and coordinating conferences, corporate activities, and shareholder engagement initiatives.
- Support the Communications team with administrative and coordination tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the third year or above, or a recent graduate of a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience or education in graphic design, visual communications, or marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Express, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- An interest in social media and digital communications.
- The ability to adapt designs for various audiences and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to managing multiple projects.
- The ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and make revisions.
- Experience with Hootsuite or PowerPoint is an asset.
