SSD Performance Test/Analysis Intern

About the role#

SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented intern to join the team focused on SSD performance testing and data analysis. This role involves contributing to the quality and performance of storage solutions through systematic testing and technical evaluation while working alongside engineering and quality assurance teams.

What you'll do#

• Develop and document comprehensive test plans for SSDs based on product specifications.
• Execute test cases and record results using standard test management tools.
• Analyze SSD performance data using custom scripts and analysis tools.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing performance metrics and test findings.
• Maintain and organize test data to ensure accuracy and consistency across test cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test strategies and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C, or C++.
• Basic understanding of storage technologies and the Linux environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Current enrollment in or possession of a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is considered a plus.

• Location: San Jose, California, United States.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $35/hr - $45/hr.
• Duration: 6 months, with an option for extension.
