About the role#
The QSP Modeling Intern joins the QSP Solutions Team to work on various projects and analyses. This role involves both technical modeling work and project management tasks. You will work remotely to support our drug development software and consulting efforts.
What you'll do#
- Review, compile, and assemble data for QSP and QST projects.
- Design, write, test, and use computer code to build and maintain biological sub-models.
- Develop and maintain code using MATLAB or Python.
- Represent compounds in modeling platforms by translating laboratory or clinical data into model parameters.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and final deliverables for projects.
- Contribute to team goals and internal research efforts.
- Assist in the preparation and review of manuscripts and conference abstracts.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or Master’s degree program in pharmaceutical sciences, applied mathematics, or engineering (including computer, electrical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering).
- Previous experience in QSP modeling or a related field is preferred.
- Strong data analytics and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage your personal workflow to meet deadlines.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated, confident, and creative approach to work.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, paid, full-time internship.
- The term runs during Summer 2027.
