About the role#
This internship program offers students the chance to work on engineering projects alongside experienced professionals. You will join technical teams, receive mentorship, and build practical skills through hands-on assignments. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027 based in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Design, simulate, and evaluate analog and mixed-signal circuits.
- Support the design and implementation of digital logic for integrated circuits and system-on-chip products.
- Develop verification environments, test plans, and test cases.
- Support the physical implementation of integrated circuits including floor planning, place and route, and timing closure.
- Contribute to the design, simulation, and testing of radio-frequency circuits.
- Develop and improve software, scripts, tools, and workflows for semiconductor design.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, or a related field.
- Graduation date of Dec 2027 or later.
- Coursework, research, projects, or internship experience related to semiconductor design or verification.
- Exposure to analog or digital circuits, RTL design, verification, computer architecture, VLSI, RF systems, signal processing, or physical design.
- Experience with tools or languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, UVM, Python, C/C++, MATLAB, Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens EDA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
- Willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn new tools and technologies.
