About the role#
Significance offers a 26-week DoD SkillBridge internship focused on the full recruiting lifecycle within a federal consulting environment. This program provides transitioning service members with practical experience in talent acquisition while supporting mission-driven federal programs. This is a full-time, remote position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Source candidates using job boards, military transition platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for active requisitions.
- Review resumes and applications against position requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, interest, and availability.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in the applicant tracking system.
- Draft, edit, and post job descriptions on internal and external job boards.
- Produce weekly pipeline reports and track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Four or more years of military experience in administration, personnel, or human resources may substitute for a degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Professional maturity, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, or sourcing tools is preferred.
