About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with the tax department to support compliance and reporting processes. This position is based in Akron, Ohio, and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Prepare US, international, state, and local income tax filings, including estimates and projections.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and documentation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions.
- Support tax compliance by identifying book-tax differences and calculating deferred income taxes.
- Respond to tax notices and assist with federal, state, and foreign audits.
- Prepare documentation to support tax returns and research audit issues.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as an adaptable team player who can handle multiple tasks.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining regular attendance.

- Term: Full-time (40 hours per week) from May to August 2027.
