About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers on a variety of technical tasks. The role requires adaptability, as you will balance solo projects with team-based assignments. You may be asked to identify and pursue opportunities to contribute to company success. While the goal is to develop your skills for potential future employment, this position does not guarantee a return offer.
What you'll do#
- Apply your electrical engineering knowledge to tasks of varying complexity.
- Support engineering and technical staff with daily projects and operations.
- Perform incidental clerical or administrative tasks when necessary.
- Follow SLI AS9100 and ISO-9001 business processes.
- Work in diverse environments, including offices, laboratories, and test facilities.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical personnel across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ABET-accredited university pursuing a BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least two semesters of coursework before the start date and one semester prior to application.
- Basic hands-on skills in an electronics lab, including familiarity with voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- US Citizenship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Experience with Altium, OrCAD PSPICE, C/C++, or Python is a plus.

- Location: Milan, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Spring 2026 (early January through March/April).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: Standard hours are 8am-5pm on weekdays, though occasional overtime may be required.
