About the role#
This internship offers students a chance to gain practical experience within the Talent Sourcing and Acquisition department. You will work in a professional environment that connects your academic studies to real-world operations. You will report to a supervisor or shift manager daily to track your progress and complete assigned tasks.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily operational and administrative duties to support the team.
- Shadow managers to observe and learn leadership skills.
- Complete projects that align with your educational institution's requirements.
- Provide helpful service to guests and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
- Assist with promotional events and maintain positive public relations.
- Follow all company policies and information security guidelines.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old and a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively with the public and staff.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Prior experience or relevant coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communications.
- The ability to resolve conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Niagara Falls, New York.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling term.
- You must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted and navigate areas with varying noise levels.
