About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Sales Internship Program for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our office in West Lake Hills, Texas, acting as a Sales Development Representative. You will help prospective authors reach their goals by connecting them with our Publishing Strategists. This role involves calling warm leads who have already expressed interest in our resources, so you will not be making cold calls to strangers.
What you'll do#
- Call warm leads who opted into our free resources.
- Run discovery conversations to learn about prospective authors' goals and challenges.
- Book qualified strategy calls on the calendars of our Publishing Strategists.
- Track every call and next step in our CRM.
- Review your calls with a coach each week to improve your performance.
- Compete on the team leaderboard and hit your daily and weekly targets.
What you'll need#
- You are a college student. While we accept any major, Business Administration, Marketing, and Communications are a great fit.
- You are competitive. Whether you play a sport or participate in debate, you hate losing.
- You are comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
- You are coachable and take feedback well.
- You are self-motivated and organized enough to hit daily targets on your own.
