Co-op/Intern - Master Planning & Logistics (Aerospace)

About the role#

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is seeking a Co-op/Intern for Master Planning & Logistics to join the team in Stratford, Ontario. This full-time, paid internship is for the Summer 2026 term. The role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across various departments, contributing to operational functions and supporting the aerospace manufacturing sector.

What you'll do#

• Rotate through different departments to gain hands-on experience in operational functions.
• Support the manufacturing area by scheduling meetings with Production Leaders and verifying capacity and demand risks.
• Manage inventory levels, analyze MRP runs, and support cost reduction activities.
• Handle order management, including purchase orders, production orders, and supplier scheduling agreements.
• Update SAP Material Masters and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Conduct research, compile data, and create presentations for team projects.
• Perform daily administrative tasks such as data entry, document organization, and scheduling.
• Prepare and present reports summarizing your learning and contributions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary Logistics or Supply Chain Management program.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational discipline.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Ability to pass a Canadian Controlled Goods Assessment and criminal background check.
• Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
