About the role#
Sanofi offers 2027 Summer Co-Op opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This program runs for 6 months, starting in June 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at our Swiftwater, Pennsylvania facility.
What you'll do#
- Optimize biological processes and scale them from the lab to global supply.
- Perform process validation to ensure medicine safety and effectiveness.
- Nurture living systems in bioreactors to produce biological building blocks.
- Run experiments and apply process analytical technologies to troubleshoot bacterial vaccine manufacturing.
- Develop new analytical testing methods.
- Maintain critical infrastructure for pharmaceutical operations.
- Ensure manufacturing processes remain environmentally sustainable.
- Use data analytics and engineering principles to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Environmental Health and Safety.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to relocate to the office location in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.
