About the role#
We are looking for a Machine Learning Research Intern to join our engineering team. You will focus on original research in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. The goal is to produce work suitable for publication in top-tier conferences. You will work closely with our researchers to improve AI agents that assist financial professionals with complex, knowledge-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Conduct original research in LLM training, evaluation, RAG, RL, and AI agents.
- Develop and test new models, algorithms, and methodologies to improve the performance of AI agents in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with our internal team to design, implement, and evaluate novel methods that align with our mission.
- Present your findings through internal technical talks and external research papers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field.
- A strong background in deep learning, large language models, and NLP techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Transformers.
- Strong coding skills.
- A track record of first-author publications in major AI or NLP conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, or EMNLP.
- Domain knowledge in RAG, RL, and AI agent training is a plus.
