About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship Program offers students the chance to work within an employee-owned engineering firm. You will work alongside experienced professional and technical staff in your area of interest. This full-time program runs for twelve weeks from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join an intern cohort and gain exposure to various aspects of the company.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on project tasks in your chosen field of interest.
- Work directly with professional and technical employee-owners.
- Participate in professional development activities to help with your transition from campus to career.
- Engage with your intern cohort.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preference for rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.
- Related experience or leadership roles in campus, community, or work settings are preferred.
- Candidates must meet requirements for the company Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and reference checks.
