About the role#
The Spark Summer Internship Program provides students with an introduction to the engineering services industry. You will join an intern cohort and work directly with experienced professional and technical employee-owners. The program aims to help you transition from your studies to a professional career.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in your area of interest.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Learn about the various aspects of the firm.
- Engage with technical experts across the company.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Preference is given to rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs.
- Relevant experience or leadership roles in campus, community, or work settings are preferred.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the company Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference check program.
Location & details#
- Location: Knoxville, Tennessee.
- Term: Full-time for twelve weeks, from May 2027 through August 2027.
- This is a paid position.
